No sure which veil is right for you?

Start by determining the shape of your face which can help you narrow down the choices. An oval-shaped face can wear any style. A round face works best with volume at the top of your head and should avoid too much volume around the ears such as the bandeau style. A rectangular-shaped face needs volume around the ears but should avoid volume at the top of the head so the bandeau style is a perfect option. A heart-shaped face and a square-shaped face look charming worn at an angle with an emphasis around the eyes.

Many of the materials can be purchased from an arts and crafts supply store. For more specialty items, the list includes sources for veiling and trims.

The amount of veiling that you’ll need varies by style. The image below lists the veiling needed but these measurements can be adjusted to your unique needs. You can increase the length to make it fuller, and you can use a different width to change where you want the veiling to end.
